Working Efficiently
After the first week, it became clear that our scope was growing out of control.
I suggested scaling down and reminding ourselves to keep things simple. At the same time, our focus on planning often overshadowed playtesting, making it harder to validate ideas.
I pushed for more frequent testing to ensure our features were on the right track.
An Equation for Efficiency
- ๐ Scope control - Encouraged scaling down to stay manageable.
- ๐ฏ Simplicity first - Reminded the team to keep things straightforward.
- ๐ ๏ธ Prioritizing testing - Advocated for regular playtests over excessive planning.
Our project owner created our new beautifully combined framework from this:
Keep It Simple Stupid + Test-Driven Development = Keep It Simple And Test Stupid
